What was the last secret you told?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 18, 2008:
My friend is dying. I'm not sure why this was supposed to be a secret, but between my brothers, there was no way that was going to stay just with me. He doesn't really seem to mind that I told someone, but all the same, I feel diminished, as though I betrayed the trust of someone who needed it most. However, if I hadn't told, I would be betraying the trust of another person, therefore literally sitting me directly between that rock and hard place.
